Winners of Egypt Quran Contest for The Disabled Announced

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Egypt’s Awqaf and Religious Affairs Ministry announced the names of winners of a Quran competition for the disabled.

 

According to al-Balad website, the competition was held at the national level on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The contenders from different provinces of Egypt competed on memorization of the Holy Quran at three levels.

A total of 27 names were announced as the top winners of the contest.

Yasser Mohamed al-Saeed Fathi from Dakahlia province was the top winner in memorization of the entire Quran.

In memorization of half of the Holy Book, Abdul Rahman Mohamed Himad Ali from Giza bagged the first prize.

In the third category, namely memorization of three Juzes (parts) of the Quran, the first-rank winner was Fares Ahmed Hassan Abdul Haleem from Alexandria.
